The recycling system crankcase
The recycling system crankcase (PCV) has a valve mounted in the oil recycling crankcase gases separator (attached to the cylinder block) and two flexible. A hose connecting the PCV PCV valve to the intake manifold and the other connects the valve cover to the outlet pipe of the air filter.
At idle and part load, the vapors pass from the crankcase oil recycling gas separator housing, through the manifold and into the combustion chambers, where they are burned during combustion.
At full load, the crankcase gases pass from the cylinder head cover in the outlet pipe of the air filter, through the flexible PVC.
